The BRICK Lab
A place to practice being brave, handling big feelings, and finding your people.
Confidence is not a personality trait. It is a set of skills.

The BRICK Lab is a small-group, after-school program where kids ages 6 to 10 learn to handle big feelings, bounce back from hard moments, and speak up for themselves, one brick at a time.

The short version
A place where kids practice the skills we usually expect them to just have.
We tell children to calm down, be brave, use their words, and let it go, but we rarely teach them how. The BRICK Lab does. Twice a week after school, a small group of kids work through four skill areas in a program developed and overseen by a licensed clinical psychologist.
Sessions feel like the best part of the school day: movement, games, art, role-play, and honest conversation. Underneath the fun, every activity is building something specific, whether that is attention, self-regulation, flexible thinking, or connection.
BRICK stands for Building Resilient, Intentional, Confident Kids.
What your child actually experiences
A small, steady group
The same handful of kids each week, so trust builds fast and quieter children get real airtime.
Skills, not lectures
Every session teaches one concrete skill through games, movement, art, role-play, and story.
Take-home practice
Kids leave with a tool they can name and use, and you get a short note so you can reinforce it at home.
Warm, high expectations
Kids are treated as capable. We celebrate effort and brave attempts more than getting it right.
