The program
What a week at The BRICK Lab looks like
Twice a week after school, the same small group meets to learn one concrete skill at a time through games, movement, art, role-play, and honest conversation.
What your child actually experiences
A small, steady group
The same handful of kids each week, so trust builds fast and quieter children get real airtime.
Skills, not lectures
Every session teaches one concrete skill through games, movement, art, role-play, and story.
Take-home practice
Kids leave with a tool they can name and use, and you get a short note so you can reinforce it at home.
Warm, high expectations
Kids are treated as capable. We celebrate effort and brave attempts more than getting it right.
What you may notice at home over time
Growth looks different for every child, and no program can promise a specific result. These are the shifts families most often hope for, and the ones we deliberately practice.
- Names feelings instead of melting down or shutting down
- Has words for what they need with teachers, coaches, and friends
- Recovers faster from mistakes, losses, and last-minute changes
- Walks into new situations with less dread and more curiosity
- Handles friendship bumps without it derailing the whole week
- Uses one or two calming strategies without being reminded
From our pilot sessions
Real moments from the small groups that tested this program before it launches in January.

The practical details
January is our upcoming launch session. We are finalizing exact dates, pricing, and the meeting location, and waitlist families will be the first to receive them.
Upcoming January session
Our first cohort launches in January. Exact dates and enrollment details go to the waitlist first.
Two afternoons a week
After-school timing, twice weekly, so skills get practiced and repeated rather than heard once.
Pickup from Greenfield School
Pickup from Greenfield School is available, so your child goes straight from dismissal to group.
Ages 6 to 10, in person
Kids are grouped thoughtfully by age and readiness, in a small in-person group.
Have a scheduling constraint or a question about fit? Add it to the note field when you join the waitlist. We read every one.

Groups are small on purpose. Waitlist families hear everything first: dates, times, pricing, pickup logistics, and the window to enroll.
